SoftForm are implants put into the lips. It increases the forward projection of the lips and makes them more bulky. It is best used in lips that are a bit flat. It can also be placed with good effect just under the nose to mouth lines. The SoftForm implant is inserted under the margin of the pink part of the lip and the normal skin. A local anaesthetic is used. The implant is made of ePTFE, which is well tolerated by the body. To reduce the risk of infection a course of antibiotics should be taken, starting the day before the procedure is done.
